Raptor 660 / Raptor 700 Hybrid Project X

We will be transforming this roached out 01 Raptor 660 into a head turning dune machine. This isn't your average ground up restore project. Far from it actually. We will be taking the stock 660 motor and turn it into a power drunk 804cc power plant. We will be doing this by using one of our new 660/700 hybrid cylinders. It utilizes the 660-bolt pattern at the base and the new raptor 700-bolt pattern at the top of the cylinder so that we can use the new 700 4-valve head and cam combination. We will also be installing a 8mm stroker crank with the cam gear set up for the 700-cam chain. In addition we will be updating the transmission to the 03 gears. We will be posting pictures and information on the project as we go so keep checking back for updates. In the mean time keep checking our new products page. We have a lot of exciting products coming out this year.

UPDATE

The Project X Raptor Hybrid is complete and ready to rip. Equiped with the updated top-end and a ridiculous amount of power, this is the ultimate Raptor 660.

The stock 660 is a 5-valve head. We will be adapting the Raptor 700-4 valve head to our 660 bottom end. This will allow the quad to breath because the new 4-valve head outflows the older 5-valve design. There are more cam choices with the 700 head and will allow us to get more overall horsepower out of the machine. The engine is like an air pump. The more air and fuel you can move through it, the more horsepower you will get out of it.
